Physical Activity and Seniors

The older we get, the more concerned we tend to be about our health. Ironically, as we age, many of us also find it harder to move around and get the physical activity we need to enjoy the best possible quality of life.

Getting active and staying active benefits more than just our bodies. It helps us stay engaged in life, improves our mood and mental health, and gives us opportunities to meet new people. It also helps our confidence and self-esteem – and some studies show it can ward off problems like dementia by keeping our brains in good condition.

All it takes to begin to get the benefits is 10 minutes, three times a day. For details, click the links below. And remember, it’s never too late to change your lifestyle for the better.
